Kenya

Kenya, a country in East Africa famed for its scenic landscapes and vast wildlife preserves. Its Indian Ocean coast provided historically important ports by which goods from Arabian and Asian traders have entered the continent for many centuries. The country has a population of 56 million with Nairobi being its Capital and the leading economic hub in East and Central Africa.

Kenya is easily accessible from different parts of the continent through its two main Airports JKIA and Moi International or via sea through the Mombasa Harbor.  

Since 2015, it has been the world’s leading safari destination, featuring over 25 national parks, 18 reserves, and 6 marine parks. Notably, Kenya is home to the only successful elephant orphanage rescue and rehabilitation program globally, allowing visitors to feed and interact with elephants.

The country also boasts stunning white sandy beaches along its coast, particularly in Swahili cities like Diani, Mombasa, and Lamu, which are rich in musical and culinary traditions. Kenya’s diverse wildlife, beautiful beaches, and scenic landscapes draw millions of visitors each year, making it a captivating destination for travelers seeking adventure and culture.
